Sunday nights This Fall you'll find our kids experiencing one of the best Kids clubs around, Awana! From the incredible small group time, spirit-filled game time, relevant messages and fun music, our kids are learning the importance of God's Word. Come and check out Awana Sunday nights this fall, we promise you're kids will love it and you will too!

What does AWANA stand for?

Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed

What are the ages for Awana clubbers?

Cubbies:
3 year olds - 5 year olds
Cubbies begin and end each club night in their classrooms located in the lower level of D building.

Sparks:
Kindergartner - 2nd Grade
Sparks begin their club night in the KidsPlace Rally Room located in the lower level of D building. Sparks are picked up by their parents from their small group classrooms also located in the lower level of D building.

T & T:
Truth & Training
3rd - 5th Grade
T & T begins their club night in the lower level of D building in their small group classrooms. Pick-up for the T & T clubbers is the KidsPlace Rally Room lobby, also located in the lower level of D building.


Awana Schedule 2008-09

Awana is scheduled to coincide with the school year. August '08 - May '09.

Opportunites for Adults

One of the best ways to get involved and to grow at DBC is to get involved with the Children's Ministry. There are many benefits to becoming a volunteer:

• You meet new people, and develop a team spirit with other teachers
• You learn as you teach. In fact, teachers may learn as much if not more than their students
• You develop your gifts and leadership abilities
• You benefit from the encouragement, training, and support of the KidsPlace staff and team
• You experience ministry, and have a meaningful impact on kids' and families' lives
