Baptism Celebration
- After completing the New Beginning Class the Children's Minister will talk with the parents and together the decision will be made as to the readiness of their child for baptism and the dates that are best for the family.
- One of the most powerful aspects of baptism at DBC is the opportunity for the parents to introduce their child to the congregation and say a few words to them as they are in the baptistry. Many of our parents have asked a dedicated teacher, Awana leader, or mentor to say a few words as well. It is a powerful testimony and a way that allows our congregation to grow in their faith by seeing and hearing about the child's faith journey.
We want baptism to be a meaningful and enjoyable experience, and we look forward to walking thorugh it with you and your family. If you have any additional questions please contact Brenda Russell, Children's Minister at 770.280.1200
