Steps to Connecting

This information may also be found in our Newcomer Guide that is available on the General Information displays in the lobbies of both the Chapel and Worship Center.

1) Worship

Worship is honoring God through Bible-based
teaching, music, baptism and prayer. We offer two
different worship services every Sunday morning at DBC.

8:30 am Traditional Service
Our Traditional Worship Service is celebrated in our Chapel and features our choir and orchestra. It is filled with special songs, familiar hymns, Bible-based
teaching and other creative elements providing a place
to commune with God in a more traditional setting.

11 am Contemporary Service
Our Contemporary Worship Service meets in the
Worship Center. With high energy, popular music and videos, along with Bible-based teaching, we provide a place for people to connect with God in the language
and style of our contemporary culture.

2) Connect

Connecting with others in a medium-sized group provides richer opportunities to learn about God and fellowship.

9:45 am Sunday Morning Adult Bible Study
DBC has 25 different groups organized by age and stage or by interesting topics. Try out a few classes until you find one that fits you best. Click here to view our list of classes.

Discovery Class
At your earliest convenience, reserve a spot in our next Discovery Class. This class will help you understand what it means to be a follower of Christ, how to get involved in a small discipleship group and how to join DBC. For more information, click here.

3) Serve

Serving is a critical part to living out your faith. Follow Jesus’ example of living the joy-filled servant’s life by serving in ministries at DBC, in our community and
around the globe.

    • The important thing is to get involved. Find a place to
serve someone else. As you serve, pray that the Spirit makes the concerns of Christ your own. Pray that you become more like Christ as a result of serving.

    • You can serve as frequently as your schedule allows.
Our Serving Guide outlines all of the serving
opportunities within DBC, our community and the world.

4) Grow

Growing deeper in your faith requires further study of the Bible, ideally with others in small groups.
