About ESOL School

We are currently accepting new students to our ESOL classes.  If you would like to become a student at our school, please come to the D-Building on Thursday at 9:30 am to register for class.

We are always accepting new students to our ESOL Bible Study, Accent Reduction & Toastmasters classes. See below for more details about these classes.

ESOL school meets September-April: Thursdays, 9:30 am - 12:00 pm, D-Building

Adult students from about 29 nationalities meet at Dunwoody Baptist Church each Thursday morning during the school year to learn English and to experience American culture, including Christian life. ESOL, DBC's active mission school, had over 100 students for the 2010-2011 school year.

The school will meet once a week on Thursdays from 9:30 am - 12:00 pm beginning on September 8, 2011 and ending on April 26, 2012. We meet on the third floor of the D building. Childcare is provided for children of students for a small fee.

The ESOL school offers Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced classes. The fee of $40.00 covers a student book and materials, snacks and drinks each week, and special celebration events for holidays and graduation. If students register on or after February 1, the fee is reduced.

ESOL has more than 60 volunteers that teach, provide hospitality, place students and administer classes. Classes are sponsored by the church with volunteer staff from DBC and other churches.

Any student or volunteer who would like more information, please email Robin or call 312.404.4051.
