Disaster Relief First Aid Training

Cost: $55.00

Dunwoody Baptist Church’s Disaster Relief Ministry (DRM) is coordinating training in Basic First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED). These courses will be held during a single-day training session and will provide the candidate with two-year certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA). These classes are identified under the AHA Heartsaver programs

DRM encourages individuals to become better prepared so they may respond to emergencies at home, at work, at DBC and within our community. These courses are a valuable tool for anyone, especially any kind of volunteer or lay leader. Please consider this class if you are: small group leaders, class admins, Deacons, greeters, DBC staff, neighborhood watch, sports coach, or just for personal and professional skills.

  • Heartsaver includes Basic 1st Aid and CPR/AED with 2-year certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Space is limited. Availability is based on a first-come, first-serve basis to registered individuals.
  • $55 per person
  • A light breakfast will be provided.

The Disaster Relief Ministry strives to support individuals, the DBC community, and the global community by being prepared to manage disasters of all types. You can join the Disaster Relief Ministry to equip others or just participate to ensure you’re ready at your home. The Disaster Relief Ministry is focused on equipping one another and others to be prepared to step up in an emergency, whether the issue is in our backyard or beyond.
