We welcome all people to come and worship with us. We encourage guests to spend time getting to know us to see if this is where God would have them join.
Becoming a member of Dunwoody Baptist Church means that you receive Christ as your Lord and Savior, participate in baptism by immersion, and understand and affirm the mission of our church. You also are willing to give your energy, time, spiritual gifts, and financial resources in order to help us accomplish our mission.
“You are a member of God’s very own family . . . and you belong in God’s household with every other Christian.” Ephesians 2:19
You may join DBC by baptism, transfer from another church, or by statement of faith. A Discovery Counselor will speak with you about your decision.
Why Is Membership Important?
Membership identifies that a person has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Membership produces spiritual growth. The New Testament places a major emphasis on the need for Christians to be accountable to each other for spiritual growth. Being committed to a church family helps you be accountable for your spiritual health.
We should follow the example of Christ. Christ is committed to the Church.
Christ loved the church and gave His life for it. Ephesians 5:25
