Mobilizers help educate, raise awareness, and encourage people to involvement in mission.  The DBC Missions Ministry functions as a catalyst to mission for all those who call themselves followers of Jesus.  We aim to mobilize followers of Christ to serve locally or abroad and share the gospel at home and around the world.

Mobilizers have a contagious passion for reaching others with the message of Christ.   They influence us to care about the things God cares about most.  We see their example and want to get involved.

Maybe you are a mobilizer.  Here are some simple things you can do to help mobilize for mission...

• Volunteer to help with annual Mission Sunday emphasis at DBC
• Host a Mission Team report in your Sunday School class or Core Group
• Encourage your class or Core Group to serve together locally or even go on a Short - Term Mission together
• Participate in a Perspectives on the World Christian Movement course in our area.  Visit www.perspectives.org for all the information on this life changing course
• Invite a friend to serve with you at Serving Atlanta or during the week in one of our ministry partners in the area
• Begin meeting with someone to mentor them in Scripture, serving and praying for those that do not know Christ
