Dunwoody Baptist Church believes that how we accomplish our mission is as important as the mission itself. Therefore, we seek to glorify God through characteristics that honor people and exalt the Lord.

Just as a family is accountable to one another, we as a church family and all members of the Body of Christ are also accountable to the Lord. The maturing follower of Christ celebrates their unique giftedness, yet takes seriously the new nature of who they are and who they are becoming in Christ. This new nature, if properly nurtured, ultimately transforms the entirety of one's life and the following characteristics will become more evident as one submits to the standard as defined and embodied by Jesus Christ.

Pursue excellence - reflecting the infinite excellence of the God we serve; producing the highest quality ministry programs, materials, and personal service possible.

Glorify God - living by faith; entrusting our talents, finances, and plans to God's control.

Be accountable to one another - a willingness to answer for one's life, characterized by vulnerability, teachability, honesty, and availability.
