Focus: What God’s will is in His Holy Word for our lives through these changing times. Jesus desires a personal, growing relationship with Him and Transitions will apply spiritual principles from the Bible to our lives.
Current topic: God & Work – Does your work matter to God? How would God have you approach what you do in the office, in the classroom or at home? Answering these questions while you are finishing up school or just starting your career can help set the stage for true success in all your work. Join other young singles as we explore six important questions related to God and our work.
Insight, D-310, single adults ages 35+
Teacher/Contact: Paul Browning, Contact: Reba Shoulders
Focus: What it means to live in relationship with God and how to apply our lives to reflect that relationship. This class studies books of the Bible and various topics related to being a disciple of Christ.
Current topic: Romans – Generally accepted as the best exposition of the gospel in the Bible, Paul’s letter to the Romans is considered to be a necessary foundation for a deeper understanding of Christ’s message to mankind. Romans addresses such questions as how to be saved, the purpose of the law, God’s sovereignty, free will, election, the current status of the Jews and salvation for the Gentiles.
New Horizons, D-205, single adults ages 50+
Teacher: Jerry Wilkinson, Contacts: Pat Johnson & Anita Mize
Focus: Different topical Bible studies. Class emphasis is missions and fellowship with many activities throughout the year.
Current topic: 1, 2 Peter – Lessons about people who hoped for God’s presence to rescue them or sustain them through various trials.
