Meet our Teachers:
Elly Case: tINY STRINGS & Preschool Piano
From the USA to the Caribbean, and all the way over to India, Mrs. Case has taught music lessons and performed worldwide. Growing up in Columbia, South Carolina, she has been immersed in music from the time she was born. Starting viola lessons at the age of 4, piano lessons in early elementary school, and voice lessons in fourth grade, she loves to make music and share it with her family, friends, and students.
From beginner to advanced, Mrs. Case has been teaching voice, violin, viola, and piano for the past nine years, and her very first student is now attending college to pursue a music degree. In May of 2020, she completed a BME in Music Education from Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina. Mrs. Case’s end goal for her students is that they will become independent musicians while playing and singing with excellence and passion.em;">
Courtney Reilly: little ballerinas

Ms. Courtney has been sharing her love and knowledge of dance for over 30 years. Her mission is to inspire and motivate in a positive loving manner, showing each child's attention, patience, and understanding.
Being an Atlanta native, her study of dance began in the ATL at a young age being trained in ballet, tap, jazz, and contemporary. She continued her love for dance studying dance arts at Brenau College, trained with the Gainesville Ballet Company, and later owned her own studio in Brookhaven for over ten years. With over 30 years of experience, it's hard to mention every accomplishment, but her favorite moments were performing with Rudolf Nureyev and the Boston Ballet, ClubMed entertainer, and cheering professionally for the Atlanta Falcons for eight years. Go Falcons!
Courtney spends her free time with her husband, four daughters, and four dogs.
Victoria Hurst: beginning combo b
Ms. Victoria is from Atlanta, GA where she began training in dance and baton twirling at the age of 8. She continued pursuing her love for dance into middle school and high school dance companies and teams where she trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary, and hip hop.
After completing high school she received The Tutwiler Dance Scholarship to attend The University of Alabama’s top-ranked dance program where she received her BA in Dance, BS in Business Management with a minor in Theatre. While in college, Ms. Victoria has had the privilege of receiving scholarships to train with The American Ballet Theatre, The Gus Giordano Dance School, and many others. She has choreographed in genres including ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap, modern/contemporary, and more. Also, Ms. Victoria has been a cast member for the Walt Disney World Company!
Now that Ms. Victoria has moved back to Atlanta, GA she is actively pursuing her professional career in the dance industry & excited to share her knowledge and love for dance with the next generation of dancers in her free time.
Ashlee Vaca: Little Maestros
Ashlee Vaca is an accomplished singer/ songwriter/ pianist from New York. After 15 years in the music industry, Ashlee has performed at venues such as Madison Square Garden, CBS's Star Search, Showtime at the Apollo, Good Day New York, and many more.
Currently residing in Atlanta, GA, Ashlee is a graduate of the Art Institute of Atlanta, where she received her Bachelor's degree in Audio Production. Ashlee is also the co-owner of her company Bad Mood Cure Music LLC. With her company, she has had the opportunity to create musical works for brands such as Zylie the Bear, with advertisements that have been broadcast on RadioDisney.
As a music teacher, Ashlee wishes to translate her experience and education into well-developed skillsets for her students that wish to break into the music industry or just want to have fun learning about music!
Class Information
Our Enrichment Program begins the week of September 14th, 2021 and our classes consist of 32 weekly lessons throughout the given school year. All DBP Enrichment Courses will be held on the children's level of the D-building (Chapel) on the first floor. Please know that a mask is required to enter any DSA/DBC buildings and only DBC/DSA Staff are allowed on the children's floor of the D-building (Chapel). For more details about student carpool, drop-off, and pick-up, please read the "Class Location" section below.
Dance Classes
Little Ballerinas
Ages: 3yrs+ / 45 min. class / Meets Wed at 2:15pm-3pm
This class will explore the body in motions! Your future dancer will have fun with time spent at the bar, stretching, engaging in dance games as well as being introduced to rhythm. Dancers will explore proper posture, feet positioning, balance as well as an introductory to choreography and coordination. Click here to register
Uniform: Pink ballet shoes, pink tights, and solid leotard of choice.

Beginning combo b:
Ages 4 to 6 yrs / 45 min. class / Meets Wed at 1:30pm - 2:15pm
This class will be so much fun for your pre -k, kindergarten student! A progression from our creative movement/little ballerinas class, tap is now introduced! The curriculum will consist of basic tap and ballet skills and across the floor exercises. More expansive ballet terminology will be taught. Through imagination activities, movement games, and singing, your little dancer will advance with a solid foundation for combo I/II. Click here to register
Uniform: Dancers should wear pink ballet shoes, tan tap shoes, pink or tan tights, tan jazz shoes, and a solid leotard of choice. Hair should be worn up in a bun.
Music Courses
Tiny Strings
Ages: 3yrs+ / 45 min. class / Meets Mon at 1:30pm-2:15pm
This pre-twinkle violin class invites all children 3 to 6 years of age to join us in learning about the violin - without using a real violin but with a box violin and bow! This class will teach your child foundational skills and techniques in preparation to play a real violin. Through singing, dancing, and listening, your child will learn foundational skills which will enable a smooth and easy transition to private violin lessons. We look forward to seeing you soon! Little Maestros
Ages: 3yrs+ / 45 min. class / Meets Tue at 1:30pm-2:15pm
Our Little Maestros Music class, students will learn basic music theory concepts in a fun learning environment!!! They will be exposed to music from various time periods and cultures. A new instrument and music theory concept will be introduced in each class, along with musical storytime and activities. So, engage your child in music and movement activities that also promote language, social and emotional skills, early math and early literacy, creativity, physical coordination, and more. Plus, your child will learn basic music vocabulary and notation as well as pre-keyboard skills, with an emphasis on piano preparation. This sets the stage for future school success and formal music lessons. This class meets in the lower level of the D-Building in the Choir Room. Click here to register

Preschool Piano
Ages: 3yrs+ / 45 minute class / Meets Thurs at 1:30pm-2:15pm
In our Preschool Piano class takes preschool children with no musical experience on a magical journey where they acquire the piano skills, keyboard awareness, and rhythmic understanding they need for a successful future at the piano. Every activity, image, song, and story are designed with preschoolers in mind. It’s a unique blend of music and math to nourish the intellectual and creative minds of young children. class location
This year all DBP Enrichment Courses will be held on the children's level of the D-Building (Chapel). If your child attends DBP's Extended Day Program, then our DSA Staff will pick them up from their Extended Day classroom, dress them (if attending a dance lesson), and return them in time for your carpool pick-up in the main hallway. However, if your child is registered for our Little Ballerinas Course at 2:15pm, then our DSA Staff will pick them up from their Extended Day classroom, dress them, and you will be responsible to pick them up outside of the main hallway doors at 3:05pm (signs will be posted indicating this location).
For students who do not attend DBP or the DBP Extended Day Program, you will drop your child off as well as pick them up outside of the main hallway doors. Referring to the below map, the main hallway is located between buildings E & D, which is indicated by the red star. Please know that due to our Coronavirus (Covid-19) policies and procedures, only DBP/DSA Staff are allowed on the children's level of the D-Building. In addition, you are required to wear a mask during pick-up & drop-off and at all times while you are in any DSA/DBC building!!!
Fee Structure:
We spread payments over 9 months for our Enrichment courses. If you register after September 10th, 2020, your first month's tuition and registration fee(s) will be due upon registration. You have the option to submit your tuition payment in full or monthly. If monthly is chosen, you will be billed on or around the 10th of each month, September 2020 thru May 2021. We spread your tuition payments over 9 months as well as factor in all holidays and school breaks.
In addition, each dance course performs in a Spring Recital at the end of the school year. This year our recital will be on Saturday, May 15th 2021 at 10am & 3pm. During the month of January 2021, each student will be measured for their recital costume(s) and a non-refundable $65 costume fee will be charged January 10th, 2021. In preparation for our 2021 Spring Recital, all dance enrollment will be closed on February 1st, 2021.

Registration:
Our Enrichment Program begins the week of September 14th, 2021 and our classes consist of 32 weekly lessons throughout the given school year. Our students are expected to attend each scheduled lesson within the year. Once you have been registered for one of our classes, we consider that an agreement that you are planning to attend for the entire school year (Sept - May/32wks). Classes will be held on Monday holidays unless indicated on our Holiday Schedule below.
If you register after September 10th, 2020, your first month's tuition and registration fee(s) will be due upon registration. Please carefully read and adhere to our payment policies and procedures regarding enrollment cancellation. Classes that fall on a holiday will be held unless indicated on the above schedule. You will be responsible for the payment of these lessons. If you will be unable to attend your class, please make arrangements with your teacher in advance so you can catch up. Please carefully read the DSA's attendance and payment policies as it relates to this matter.
