Disciple the Nations
You are here today because some 2,000 years ago the disciples of Jesus obeyed His command to make disciples of all nations. At the time, they had no idea what that really meant. But, today, we do. We know where the nations are. They are here in our own backyard. They are in places around the world where the name of Jesus has never been heard.
Like the early disciples, will you bring the gospel to them? Will you make disciples of the nations? One day in the future, will someone say that they know the love and joy of Jesus because of what you decided to do today? Jesus’ heart was for the nations. So is ours. Let’s go and make disciples.
May the peoples praise you, God; may all the peoples praise you. May the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you rule the peoples with equity and guide the nations of the earth. (Psalm 67:3-4)
