Welcome to DBC's KidsPlace! 

We love having visitors and guests in our classrooms and other programs! If you are visiting with us please stop by the The Ark, Kingdom Kidz or the Rally Room  Welcome and Information Centers a few minutes before the service begins. We'll give you and your child a big smile, and the forms and information you'll need for your visit. Whether you're already a part of our family or coming through our doors for the very first time, you'll find a place for learning, celebration and encouragement. We envision a place where children are passionately becoming more like Jesus and are committed to transfoming their community and their world! A place where children Know God in an intimate and personal way, where they can Grow in their knowledge and love for Him and understand their call to Go to follow Him with all their heart, soul and strength, and to share His love with others.

We will nurture this movement as we:

• Impact the children of our community with the message of Christ's love for them
• Provide enriching environments for preschool - preteen children to learn about Christ 
• Facilitate growth in their relationship with Jesus Christ and His Word
• Foster skill building through relevant biblical teaching, positive role modeling and esteem building
• Prepare children to discover their uniqueness and eventually God's mission and purpose for their lives

Our KidsPlace Children's Ministry is divided into three age appropriate divisions

• The Ark,  Birth 24 months (B building)
• Kingdom Kidz, 3 - Kindergarten (A building)
• The Rally Room,1st - 5th grade, (D building)

How we teach

• Parents are involved. We encourage parents to volunteer in the classroom either as regular volunteers or at least as a substitute once every two months.
• The truth is presented in creative, age appropriate ways. We seek to be sensitive to children's learning styles and developmental stages in all we do.
• They're taught by teams of gifted adults who care. We have high standards for our volunteers, including an interview and screening process, an ongoing training plan, and a team teaching approach.
• They're having fun. That's why we encourage exciting, active, unforgettable programming.
