Class Information

Dance at DSA addresses the need to move! We emphasize the developmental stages, focusing on body awareness, synchronized movement, spatial exploration, group dances, and expressive movement. Please know that our classes are opened to all children. All of the elements of our Ballet, Hip-Hop, Jazz, K-Pop, and Little Ballerinas courses will culminate in our year-end recital which is a very dynamic time for dancers and families alike.

In addition, this year all DBP Enrichment Courses will be held on the children's level of the D-Building (Chapel). If your child attends DBP's Extended Day Program, then our DSA Staff will pick them up from their Extended Day classroom, dress them (if attending a dance lesson), and return them in time for your carpool pick-up in the main hallway. However, if your child is registered for our Little Ballerinas Course at 2:15pm, then our DSA Staff will pick them up from their Extended Day classroom, dress them, and you will be responsible to pick them up outside of the main hallway doors at 3:05pm (signs will be posted indicating this location).

For students who do not attend DBP or the DBP Extended Day Program, you will drop your child off as well as pick them up outside of the main hallway doors. Referring to the below map, the main hallway is located between buildings E & D, which is indicated by the red star.  Please know that due to our Coronavirus (Covid-19) policies and procedures, only DBP/DSA Staff are allowed on the children's level of the D-Building. In addition, you are required to wear a mask during pick-up & drop-off and at all times while you are in any DSA/DBC building!!!
