Senior Adults

The DBC Senior Adult Ministry exists to encourage and assist Senior Adults to receive Christ, to grow spiritually, to build relationships and to be involved in ministry.

All senior adults are welcome to participate in all our activities - Sunday Morning Bible Study, monthly luncheons, day excursions, Heartstrings Choir, and numerous serving opportunities throughout the year. Come and join us in this vibrant and active ministry.

Young at Heart Luncheon

Picnic at Morgan Falls Overlook Park

Thursday, May 24, 10 am - 2 pm

We will enjoy a wonderful time of relaxation and fellowship in a beautiful setting overlooking the Chattahoochee River. Linda Miness, with the aid of her lovely ladies Linda Oglesby and Beth Maycumber, will bring a mouth-watering meal for us, including fried chicken, baked beans, potato salad, deviled eggs, desserts, iced tea and lemonade.

Meet in the parking lot by the choir room at 10:00 am to ride the bus, or meet us at 10:30 am at the park. (Space on the buses is limited to the first 30 reservations.)

If you have dietary restrictions, please feel free to bring your own lunch to the picnic or to any of our luncheons. Although there will be no charge for those not eating the YAH meal, reservations are still required to ensure we have enough seating.
