Few things are more tragic in battle than friendly fire—when the greatest damage comes not from the enemy, but from those fighting on the same side.
In Nehemiah 5, the walls of Jerusalem are rising, but something far more dangerous than outside opposition threatens God’s people. The attack comes from within. God’s people begin exploiting, burdening, and wounding one another.
The reality is that churches, families, and organizations often face the same danger today. Sometimes the greatest threats to unity, trust, and mission don’t come from outside opposition, but from inside conflict.
In this message, Pastor Jimmy helps us explore “Friendly Fire” from Nehemiah 5 and discover how God calls His people to confront injustice, protect unity, and remember that we are fighting for one another, not against one another.
