We have an active and energetic senior adult ministry that provides opportunities for fellowship, service, worship and growth as disciples of Jesus. Everyone is welcome to join us!
Young at Heart Christmas Concert and Luncheon
Thursday, November 7
Concert begins in the chapel at 11am to be followed by a luncheon in the Dining Hall.
Young at Heart is delighted to welcome back the award-winning Highleit Show Choir conducted by DBC’s own very gifted Jared Duncan! Kick off your Christmas celebration with a fabulous musical performance by this group of 44 accomplished high school singers and dancers from the DeKalb School of the Arts. These students are amazingly talented and clearly just love to sing. This is one event you don’t want to miss.
We will enjoy their special program in the Chapel at 11am and then move to the Dining Room at 12pm for a catered lunch. Sign up and pay online at DBC.ORG/Events (then scroll down and click on the YAH Luncheon) or in the Church Office. $15 per person in advance. Registration closes at 12:00 Noon on Monday, December 4.
Menu: Beef Tips & Gravy, Loaded Mashed Potatoes, Green Bean & Bacon Bundles, House Salad & Dressings, Rolls/Butter and Red Velvet Cake/Cream Cheese Icing.

Healthcare & Referral Advice
This pastoral care ministry is available for members and friends of the Dunwoody Baptist Church community. At no cost to participants, we provide advice, recommendations and introductions to those who are recovering from illness or injury, or who are facing difficult decisions related to aging and are in need of resources.
The leader of this ministry, Fran Weigard, is particularly knowledgeable about home care services and providers, hospice care options and long term residential communities. She is available to answer questions, encourage families and connect patients with providers. There is no charge for this assistance. We simply see this ministry as a way to serve our family here at Dunwoody Baptist.

DBC's Visitation Ministry provides a sense of fellowship, belonging and involvement to those who aren't able to get out and about as easily as they used to. We also work to connect these church members to additional DBC ministries that can help them with other needs they may have.
If you know someone who could benefit from this ministry, or if you would like to show the love of Jesus through this ministry, please email Jim Giesler.
