We have an active and energetic senior adult ministry that provides opportunities for fellowship, service, worship and growth as disciples of Jesus. Everyone is welcome to join us!
Young at Heart Luncheon
Young at Heart hosts events throughout the year. Our catered luncheons are scheduled on the fourth Thursday of each month from September to May and feature presentations on a number of interesting topics.
We are excited that a Coronavirus vaccination is on the horizon! For now, in the interest of safety, we feel it is best to keep YAH events on hold, but we will keep you updated as the situation progresses. Meanwhile, we hope you’ll take advantage of other ways to connect with friends at Dunwoody Baptist Church.
In-person worship services are taking place in the DBC Chapel on Sundays at 8:30 and 11 am. Participants are required to wear masks and maintain social distancing. If you are more comfortable worshiping at home, both services also continue to be streamed live online. We encourage you to worship in whatever way you think best for you and your family.
In addition to the two worship services, every Sunday at 9:45 am, adults at DBC connect with others in a classroom setting that provides rich opportunities to learn about God and to enjoy fellowship. Most classes are currently using a hybrid format, giving class members the option of attending in person or online through Zoom. If you are interested in joining one of these classes, please email Katy Swilley for assistance.
We hope you will take advantage of these opportunities to gather, whether in person or online, as we wait for the time when we can share a meal and enjoy a Young at Heart program together. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Healthcare & Referral Advice
This pastoral care ministry is available for members and friends of the Dunwoody Baptist Church community. At no cost to participants, we provide advice, recommendations and introductions to those who are recovering from illness or injury, or who are facing difficult decisions related to aging and are in need of resources.
The leader of this ministry, Fran Weigard, is particularly knowledgeable about home care services and providers, hospice care options and long term residential communities. She is available to answer questions, encourage families and connect patients with providers. There is no charge for this assistance. We simply see this ministry as a way to serve our family here at Dunwoody Baptist.
