Be the Bridge: Pursuing God’s Heart for Racial Reconciliation - Virtual

Tuesday, 7:00pm - 8:30pm

Tuesdays, 9/22 - 10/27, 7-8:30 PM

Be the Bridge: Pursuing God’s Heart for Racial Reconciliation

"But what can I do?” This is a question many of us are asking as we attempt to enter into the national conversation on race. As Jesus-followers we know we are called to work toward reconciliation and healing, but we often don’t know where to start. And so we invite you to begin a journey of bridge building through awareness and understanding together. We will be using the book, Be the Bridge (BTB), written by Latasha Morrison and used by diverse Christian leaders around the country. During this six-week course, BTB presents a compelling vision of what it means for every follower of Jesus to become a bridge builder, committed to pursuing justice and racial unity in light of the gospel.

Join Pastor Allen live on our website on Wednesdays at 6 pm for a new Bible study, The Life of a Jesus Follower: Off the Record. This 8-week Bible study will loosely follow our church-wide study as Pastor Allen shares scripture, tell stories from his journey and ask about yours. Note to Bible study leaders: Pastor Allen will not handle the scriptures you will use in your small groups. This is a time to reconnect with our stories of what it is like to live as a disciple of Jesus.
