Singles Core Groups
Fellowship, Discussion, Thoughts, Encouragement and Prayer
Are you looking for something even more? Then it is a great time to get plugged in to one of our weekly Bible Studies for Singles. See below for what our core groups will be studying. If you are interested in joining a group, we hope you will consider these opportunities!
Tuesday Night Men's Group
We meet every Tuesday night at 7 pm in the home of Fred Lehmann. All single guys are welcome. New study starting in June: "The Christian Atheist - Believing in God, but Living as if He Doesn't Exist" by Craig Groeschel.
We meet every Thursday night at 6:30 pm in the home of Mike Shope. Our next study begins June 10th, based on Forgotten God: Reversing Our Tragic Neglect of the Holy Spirit, by Francis Chan. Chan pleads passionately for the church to live by the power of the forgotten God: the Holy Spirit, calling Christians to more than just a better life. He wants to live a life unexplainable without the Holy Spirit, so dependent on the Spirit that, he says, "if he doesn't come through, I'm screwed." This is not a comprehensive study but intended for application. Chan's aim is to end ceaseless talk and follow God's lead to assist the poor, the abused and anyone without hope.
KAI Community: College Bible Study for all Atlanta Area College Students meets Tuesdays at 8 pm on the DBC Campus (G building, lower level).

Sunday Morning Bible Study
Insight!
Sundays, 9:45 am - All Ages, D-310 (Chapel Building)
In sight of all God's vision for life, community and faith. In-Sight is a class for Singles of all ages interested in studying books of the Bible as well as other faith issues dealt with in today's world. We do not seek insight from each other so much as to be in sight of what God is doing and the life He is calling us to live. Scripture is the basis our understanding of what it means to pursue God's vision.
