Okwii Van Horn: Music Program
Ms. Okwii has loved singing and making music since she was very little! Her exposure to music came at an early age as she grew up hearing her mother sing and her father play the drums at church in New Orleans, Louisiana. After moving to Atlanta, she began playing the clarinet in 5th grade, then participated in tour group choir, marching, and concert band until graduating high school. After four years of attending a leadership college, she worked as a co-director for worship music. Ms. Okwii is currently the worship leader for an elementary-age children’s ministry at Victory Church in Norcross called Victory Kids. She is also teaching Preschool Music at Dunwoody Baptist Preschool. As a lover of music from childhood, she is very grateful to have multiple opportunities now that allow her to invest in the next generation of music lovers!
