DCS's Enrichment Program

DCS Enrichment Program

Meet our Teachers:

Anari Terry: Creative Combo

Anari has been dancing for 9 years, 5 professionally. Having the opportunity to grace the stage with many industry artists and choreographers. Whilst recently adding pro-NBA dance team experience to her resume, she continues to train in all styles.

Anari has always had a love for working with children. She found that assisting them progress through milestones, while teaching her greatest passion, is something she’d like to continue doing for as long as possible. She has a current residency in the mobile dance company Creative Movement and Dance. Teaching at many locations including churches and after-school programs. Alongside her dream to teach, Anari also has a passion for choreographing. She hopes to one day do so overseas and eventually settle down as a studio owner.

.

Courtney Reilly: Carousel Combo

Ms. Courtney has been sharing her love and knowledge of dance for over 30 years. Her mission is to inspire and motivate in a positive loving manner, showing each child's attention, patience, and understanding.

Being an Atlanta native, her study of dance began in the ATL at a young age being trained in ballet, tap, jazz, and contemporary. She continued her love for dance by studying dance arts at Brenau College, trained with the Gainesville Ballet Company, and later owned her own studio in Brookhaven for over ten years. With over 30 years of experience, it's hard to mention every accomplishment, but her favorite moments were performing with Rudolf Nureyev and the Boston Ballet, ClubMed entertainer, and cheering professionally for the Atlanta Falcons for eight years. Go Falcons!

Courtney spends her free time with her husband, four daughters, and four dogs.

Natalie Morales: Drama - Masterclass

Ms. Natalie was born and raised in Chicago, IL. She moved to Georgia 1-year ago and is a big-city girl through and through. She has been involved in the Arts for over 12 years, from drawing and painting to acting, singing, and dancing. She has a passion for helping students develop and build their confidence in Performing Arts and ultimately, in building confidence in their God-given talents. Ms. Natalie believes that every student is uniquely gifted and her desire as the DSA Drama Assistant is to encourage the individual strengths of each student that enrolls in our Drama Program.

Rob Britt: Drama - Masterclass

Rob has been working with children, youth, and adults for 20 years at Dunwoody Baptist Church in the field of drama. He has been one of the primary leaders of the KidsPraise Service and Arts team for 3rd - 5th graders, which puts on 2 big productions each calendar year. One of the two productions is an original piece written by him. Rob is the writer/producer/director for the Worship Center drama productions for DBC’s annual Vacation Bible School going back 12 years. He is also a long-time member of the DBC adult drama team where he has written and performed in both short-form sketches as well as longer productions.

In 2014, he felt a call to “quit his day job” and pursue writing as a career. This process is still ongoing and there have been many blessings along the way. Six of his sketches have been published in Christmas and Easter-themed drama books published by Carpenter’s Son Publishing in 2015-2016. He has written plays bought and performed by Freedom Academy, Knoxville Tennessee. He wrote all the original dramas for the “Heroes of History” VBS curriculum based on the “Max & Liz” books by Jenny Cote. In 2015, Onstage Atlanta chose his Christmas sketch “Shelf on an Elf” to be performed by their professional theater company as part of their “Merry Little Holiday Shorts” series.

Rob enjoys working with children and youth, and combining that with his love of drama is one of his life’s greatest joys. His wife, Lyndy, and 16yr son, Adam ARE Rob’s greatest joys and they support his theatrical endeavors to the fullest. Adam is involved in drama at John’s Creek High School as both an actor and sound engineer. Lyndy is a behind-the-scenes person who uses her sewing and crafting skills to help with costumes and props.

Sarah Dooley: Drama: MAsterclass

Sarah has been involved in the Performing Arts since childhood. She has been a part of numerous productions both on and off the stage. She has experience acting as well as helping backstage on various production teams. Since joining DBC three years ago, she has been a part of multiple productions including VBS, Journey through Jerusalem, Walk to Bethlehem, and Mystery Dinner Theatre. Her calling to ministry has afforded her the privilege of working with children of all ages. One of her greatest joys is seeing children begin to build their self-confidence and take pride in something they have accomplished. She looks forward to working with DSA to help the drama students excel both on and off the stage.
