DBC's Men's Ministry exists to help men in every stage of life seek God, grow in His likeness and live according to His will.
Work and home are the super bowls of manhood. Real men know how to win in both!
As the world needs real men more than ever, this group will help you understand the Biblical definition of manhood, what makes a man a man, and how to become and express the man God intended you to be.
Sundays, January 9 – March 20, 7-8:30 pm

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the ages of the men? Men between 18–60+ attend on a weekly basis.
Do I need to be married or a father to attend? No. Single, married, divorced and widowed men all attend the sessions.
What is the typical format of the 1.5 hour meeting? We start at 6:30 pm for a social setting where men can chat, share and just meet / make new friends. The program starts at 7 pm sharp. From 7–7:15, we have general announcements and evening directions. From 7:15–8, the large group watches an informative video series based on Robert Lewis’ highly successful Men’s Fraternity program. From 8–8:30, we break up into small groups for discussion. We finish at 8:30. Discussions can continue, but that is optional.
Tell me about the small groups: There are normally 6-10 men in a small group, and they remain together for the entire year. The group is facilitated by a leader and an alternate.
Do I need to be familiar with the Bible and be a church member to attend? Absolutely not. Several men are not from DBC that attend. Although we reference Biblical verses—you do not need to be familiar or even own one to join our sessions.
Will I be called on to answer questions or made to feel uncomfortable? Absolutely not. One of our tenets in the program is that we do not call on anyone to answer questions.
Will I be called upon to pray? Absolutely not. We do not call on anyone to pray. The leaders will ask for prayer requests from the group and facilitate the prayer time.
What if I miss a class due to a business trip? How do I catch up? The church provides login information and access to Right Now Media where you can view all the materials you have missed.
Does the group plan on having any social gathering during the year? Yes, we are planning on having 1 or 2 social gatherings during the year.
What does it cost to join? There is a minimal fee of $10 for the workbooks.
