Short-Term Mission Teams
Join God on his mission to bring all nations into his kingdom. Our teams go to disciple those who will make disciples of all nations. We are blessed and grow as followers of Jesus as a result. Team members are selected after an application and approval process. Participants commit to the training and the team. Those back home are invited to give support and pray for the teams. Liberia | November 4-17, 2022
This team will work alongside DBC's mission partner, Sustainable Liberia. Activities may include the installation of solar irrigation systems, teacher training, and sharing the Gospel through testimonies, Bible studies, and worship times. This team is led by Allen Taliaferro.

New Orleans | February 18-21, 2023
Spend a long weekend ministering to ship crews docked in New Orleans. We will work alongside Global Maritime Ministries. This ministry exists to provide holistic Christian ministry by meeting the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of seafarers and maritime workers. This team is led by Robert Comeaux.

US/Mexico Border | April 2-6, 2023
This team will work alongside Iglesia Misionera Cristo Vive, a local church in Pharr, Texas, joining them in the work they are doing every day. Activities may include sorting supplies, assisting immigrants with food and clothing, and working on a new ministry center for their church. This team is led by Jeff Reams.

Jamaica | April 10-15, 2023
Spend a week with 60 young people in Jamaica, who come from the local orphanages. Our time is spent equipping them with practical skills for a successful life once they age out of the system at age 18. Most importantly, we will give them the understanding and hope that God is with them moment by moment. This team is led by Kay Hornsby.

Guatemala | July 8-15, 2023
We are returning to Antigua, Guatemala to work in the surrounding Panchoy Valley in connection with our mission partner church, Revive Guatemala. Some of our activities may include water filter distributions, wheelchair distributions, planting garden boxes, and above all, sharing the Gospel of Hope through Jesus Christ. This team, led by Ellen Powell, is open to single adults, married couples, and families.
